of credit. For what He’s done. God said in the last days He would pour his Spirit out onto all flesh. But it was because of Jesus. I just so badly want Him to get the credit for what He bought, the relationships that He desperately longs for more than anything in the universe. What more could He have done, people? What other being is SOOOOOOO worthy of praise and honor and the glory due to him????
“Every night, God whispers into the dreams of unsaved men and women. He seals the truth within their heart. Prophetic evangelism provides a human voice to the spiritual mysteries God has implanted in the lost. Many will search the world over, looking for the key to unlock that truth.” -John Paul Jackson
I just got done reading “The Celestine Prophecies”. Absolutely phenomenal book if you read it from a Christian perspective (replace “evolution” with “God”, “energy” with “Spirit” or “spirit”, etc.)
I’m growing convinced that when God said “In the last days I will pour out my Spirit on ALL flesh”.. He meant it! Unsaved people CAN tap into God’s Spirit of love that flows over the entire earth. They absolutely can. They may not know who He is, and they may call it an “it”, but God has outright given humanity this gift and we need to understand this fact. That doesn’t negate the heartfelt need to know Him personally, but I absolutely was fascinated by this unsaved man’s understanding of how the Spirit works in relationship to our spirit, and how our spirits work in relationship to each other. He is so right on in so many ways! I’m re-reading it as soon as possible!
I also had a revelation the other day of what irked me about the “New Agers” that understand God’s Spirit on the earth, but don’t know the source. It is this: They don’t understand the cost!!! My hope and goal is to somehow meld both of these worlds- the judgementless tapping into God’s love and Spirit on the earth like new agers easily do and how God so desperately wants for all of us, while trying to help my friends who do not know Him realize that He is more that just a force. He is a Father. A Groom. A Friend. And He deserves the credit for what He’s done.
God, I’m so happy for these two “halves” of my life finally coming together! Thank You!!!! 🙂
I paid off my last credit card today. I will never have one again.
It’s not just about volunteering and doing good to the community. It’s not just about idealism.
It’s about Jesus. It’s about a relationship with Him and hearing His voice, and then being obedient to that voice- because He loves us and wants what’s best for us, and He’s the only one in this pair that can see everything clearly.
God, re-ignite me.
2. Exercise. Somehow. If I can’t get to Dan Abraham, then buy an exercise bike. If I can’t do that, then walk the Subways for an hour. But somehow, try to sweat!
1. 20/20. 20 minutes of either worship, prayer, or Bible and 20 minutes of rest in Jesus.
2. Don’t care about life. Just want to be happy with Jesus!
3. Exercise. Somehow. If I can’t get to Dan Abraham, then buy an exercise bike. If I can’t do that, then walk the Subways for an hour. But somehow, try to sweat!
4. Watch what I eat.
5. GET OUT OF DEBT.
6. Become a GREAT storyteller!
It is time for me to get married and settle down.
God is with me.
I have been wanting to fast and seek God to make sure I’m hearing His voice, lately. Specifically for Parul and to be sure I’m hearing Him correctly concerning her. Because I just want to be right if I’m believing in those dreams. Maybe I will just fast exclusively for her. Her salvation. I can do that, because I still believe that’s God’s will, but have no idea what will happen after that point in time.
But more than anything, I just want to feel His presence, and hear His voice again. I DO NOT and WILL NOT HARDEN MY HEART ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!
